Agreed. I should note that it was also used in 1992 by Bush in L.A. to quell riots, but only at the request of the Governor. I cannot find any instances of a President using it in the manner Trump is trying. It's hard to see so many rush to defend the actions of the current administration, when we both know so many would be calling for impeachment after 5 minutes had this been any other President.
